Position Overview

We are currently hiring Senior Consultants for Organizational Change Management (OCM). This position is ideal for experienced OCM consultants who feel confident leading client engagements.

We expect to keep our consultants busy, though with some ebbs and flows in the workload. The position is to start as an independent contractor with potential to become a W-2 employee with benefits. Responsibilities:

  • Guiding clients through the OCM process for medium- and large-scale projects including systems implementations.
  • Facilitation of stakeholder focus groups and surveys.
  • Identification of change benefits, potential impacts, and risks.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Development of on OCM plans, communication plans, training plans, and other key OCM related plans.
  • Refining communication plans and development of content.
  • Creation of training materials and delivery of training to client teams.
  • Planning and facilitation of OCM teams and ongoing meetings.
  • Assessment of readiness for change, and potential points of resistance.
  • Coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure a unified vision of OCM and successful change implementation.


Applicants must have:

  • 4+ years OCM experience as an external, professional OCM consultant.
  • Prosci change management practitioner certification.
  • Experience performing organizational change management as part of system implementation projects.
  • Candidates must reside in the Puget Sound area or Portland/Vancouver area.
  • Candidates must have experience working in public sector.
  • Experience facilitating teams.
  • Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to senior-level staff.
  • Client relationship management skills.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience facilitating remote meetings.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience with project management.
  • Experience with public utilities or educational institutions.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Experience with Visio or Lucid Chart.

Education: B.S. or B.A. or higher from an accredited institution. Preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Policy, or Public Administration. A Master’s Degree in Change Management is a strong plus. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience should also apply.


Software Required: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Job Type: Contract, Part Time to Full Time depending on position
